RIP Mr Redmond
This was a sad story of an attack on a man on his honeymoon in the Seychelles just starting out on his married life but its one of those freak incidents. But once again like the Polar Bear incident the week before, you are intruding their territory. Sharks do not live on land, the sea is their territory. As humans, its a risk you take.
But the shark may pay the ultimate price since they are on the hunt for the shark. The sharks do not get taught where he/she can go and what he/she can eat, if he/she is scared or hungry, it will attack.
Ofcourse Seychelles will want to find the shark (or like Egypt, may find any shark just to kill it) so that the tourist will continue to flock so the economy keeps running since the green dollar is being spent.
Its OK to kill an animal that attacked one person, but the thousands of brainless thugs that burnt down and killed people a couple of weeks ago in the UK get a measly prison sentence, hmmm yeah that’s justice alright.
Money talks once again.
